About Us

 And Eve Studio was established in 2022 and has grown from a part time passion ran from a spare room into a bespoke sampling and production solution for companies and individuals.  With a dedicated team of seamstresses working from our new studio we are proud to be producing 100% UK cut and sewn quality garments.

 

With a select client base sharing our values we have been able to produce garments stocked in Selfridges, sold online at Farfetch and worn by celebrities such as Rita Ora and Gwen Stefani.  But we take most pride from enabling our clients to achieve their goals and grow their business through our support.

 

We are proud to be based in Bishop Auckland within County Durham which has a rich history of seamstresses intertwined with the region’s industrial past, particularly its mining communities. Many women worked as seamstresses, either professionally or as part of their household duties, creating and repairing clothing for their families and local workers.

 

Founded and led by Evie Bushby following successfully completing a tailoring qualification in 2022.  The studio is now established with industrial sewing machines and local young female seamstresses that are passionate about their work.  The ambition is to continue to bring the skills and investment back to County Durham.   

 

And Eve Studios is small enough to care and big enough to deliver.  We can respond quickly to production requests from established businesses wishing to utilise a skilled UK workforce.  We also work with those wishing to establish themselves in the clothing industry and provide support and guidance during the sampling process turning concepts and designs into beautiful wearable products.
